Today we have been picking sloes on the cliff tops, the coastal path has eroded away, so not many people pass this way.
After yesterday's gales, I even left Max at home, it was so much nicer picking in the warm sunshine.
Picking this close to the coast is a first for me, wonder if this occurs in other parts of the country?
The freezers are filling up nicely so we will have sloes available out of season.

Hi, I've been picking sloes in Norfolk and Suffolk for the last 11 years. Every year, I look forward to August picking sloes to sell to businesses and the general public.
The scenery is always amazing, views over the coastline are sure to make each day special, however the same cannot always be said about the weather!
Sloeberries are in season August - December. We rely very heavily on our friends, the bees, to pollinate in March/April so that we are able to enjoy the fruits. This means that you can pre-order sloes with us all year round and fresh sloes will be delivered to you once ripened.
