An incredibly sad day yesterday.

I said goodbye to my beautiful mate and wingman yesterday morning, Max my labrador who has foraged with me every day for the last 6 years became quite ill just a few weeks back, he had a large tumour in his tummy, it will be strange picking samphire and sloes without him, hopefully in the not too distant future i will start looking for another dog who will have a great life out in the hedgerows and marshes.

       ABOUT US

Hi, I've been picking sloes in Norfolk and Suffolk for the last 11 years.  Every year, I look forward to August picking sloes to sell to businesses and the general public.

The scenery is always amazing, views over the coastline are sure to make each day special, however the same cannot always be said about the weather!

Sloeberries are in season August - December. We rely very heavily on our friends, the bees, to pollinate in March/April so that we are able to enjoy the fruits. This means that you can pre-order sloes with us all year round and fresh sloes will be delivered to you once ripened.
